Thermal-catalyst type ozone destructor
Work principle
Thermal-catalyst ozone destructor removes the tail ozone by catalytic decomposition.
This kind of ozone destructor is designed to be an integrated unit. The ozone destruct equipment (heater and catalyst tank), local control panel and fan are installed on one welded steel frame. The catalyst has been fulfilled according to requirements. The product has passed operation test and performance tested.
The main components of heat-catalyst ozone destructor are as follows:
1 Catalytic reaction tank which includes stainless steel catalytic tank, stainless steel meshed grill and supporting plate, catalyst, etc.
2 Heater which includes temperature controller, stainless steel shell, heat components, etc.
3 fan: aluminum turbine, single/ three-phase electric motor.
4. Demister which includes shell, frame, special mist elimination screen mesh, water discharge device, etc.
5 Control cabinet: Control cabinet includes one set of display regulation instrument and alarm could be installed at the termination for remote indication. The control cabinet of small size destructor is integrated with destructor. But control cabinet of large size is separated from destructor to make ozone destructor operate automatically. The cabinet is made of thin steel board and the protection class is IP45. The protection class also can be upgraded to IP55 based on user's requirements. The components are as follows:
a Special operation panel: local/remote switch, press button, indicating lamp, temperature control instrument, part or all of monitoring instrument system.
b Control system: It can be controlled remotely by PLC besides manual control on operation site.
Main features
1 Safe: used the best catalyst, ozone destructor will decompose ozone into safe concentration without consuming ozone and absorbing ozone.
2 Operating under low temperature: The operating temperature is about 40-60ºC to cut down the operating cost. It can save about 90% operation cost compared with heat type ozone destructor.
3 Low pressure drop: maximum pressure drop is only 0.02MPa.
